Week of 9/7-9/11

Principal’s Message:

  • This Friday, 9/11, marks the end of our first grading progress report window.  This is very important for student athletes and students with work permits. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to be eligible for sports and to work.

  • After school tutoring is in full swing! Come by room 109a to get help. It’s a great time to get assistance before the grading progress report.

  • Parents and students, are you interested in joining the School Site Council? We’d love to have your voice and ideas! You get to make important decisions, such as approving school goals. Please email me to learn more and get involved.

  • Marin County Office of Ed is premiering a new Screenagers film, Screenagers: Generation AI, co-produced by Marin filmmaker Lisa Tabb on Wednesday, September 9th, at 7:00pm at CinemaWest Larkspur Landing Theater. HERE is info on the film and you can secure your tickets HERE.

  • Enjoy the 3-day weekend!

Counselor’s Corner:

  • September is Suicide Prevention Month. Suicide Prevention Month is a time to raise awareness, spread hope, and spark meaningful action around one of the most urgent mental health issues of our time. Our goal at THS is to ensure that students, and families have access to the tools, resources, and support they need to talk openly about suicide prevention, recognize warning signs, and seek help if needed. Keep an eye out for further information/events this month
