Gender Spectrum is a local organization that provides support and education around queer identities and gender. They are hosting a 2-part series via Zoom on Sept 12th and 19th for parents or caregivers - please consider signing up! The cost is $32 per participant but no one will be turned away for lack of funds so please do reach out if costs are a barrier.

Join us for a two part-series on supporting your transgender, non-binary or gender expansive child's mental health across a spectrum. This series will be facilitated by two licensed mental health practitioners and is open to parents and family of gender expansive youth and adolescents. Zo Jimenez and Dani Villalobos will be covering topics including but not limited to: mental health and reasons why mental health challenges may occur, child and adolescent development, a model on the many parts that make up our identities, and different ways to support your relationship with your child.
If you have been struggling as a parent to support your trans, non-binary or gender expansive child's mental health or simply want to have more tools in your back pocket please join us! Because of the amount of content we will be covering and to allow time for questions this will be a two part event. Please plan as best you can to attend both sessions!
